Agreed...but if they are hoping to get the country fans to buy into this, ya gotta have the hits they know, right?

If I were producing this, I would have not permitted countryfied covers of HTW, DF, TD, WH, or Angie...
they are already there for the most part, or close to it in some fashion.

Surprised there isn't a version of Far Away Eyes or LIB...but maybe those were tossed in the bin...

I always seem to enjoy these tribute albums to a point...fingers crossed this works out. GIDDY-UP!

I did include one version in my book... the guy's voice sounds like a cross between Johnny Cash and Iggy Pop!:

(The 2nd one does at least include some less obvious songs such as 'Coming Down Again', 'Dear Doctor' and 'Streets Of Love').
