I heard Keiths version would be part of the Fully Finished studio outtakes. As it was not, really am still interesse in his take.
Could someone post it, please?
Thanks
Jeroen

Just did a quick search for "One More Shot"...surprisingly, I discovered that Steve Jordan is credited with writing it with Mick and Keith.
Who knew?

Yeah, the song is a leftover from Keith's (at the time unreleased) 'Crosseyed Heart' album which he'd started working on in 2011.  Presumably he and Jordan had done some some work on it by the time the Stones got to work on the two new songs in Paris in August 2012.

Thats pretty cool there...so, do ya think Jagger shoe-horned his name into the credits|??? I am not sure what his contributions were to the end product but it sounds like it was fully finished and ready to be recorded by the time they got to Paris. That in itself is kinda funny to consider that out of the 2 new songs, only one was actually a "new" Stones song.

More reasons to say "GRRR!!!"

Yes he did. Any song released by the Stones that is written by either Mick or Keith gets credited to Jagger-Richards, regardless of how little the other party contributes. Of course, not having heard Keith's original, it could be that Mick added something to it that warranted a credit anyway.

'Almost Hear You Sigh' is a case in point. The Stones' version is credited Jagger/Richards/Jordan. However, it was first recorded a year earlier for 'Talk is Cheap' and like the rest of that album would have ended up as a Richards/Jordan credit had they finished it and released it as a solo record :

The early Stones' version - still with Keith on guide vocals - is getting closer musically to the finished version. Mick presumably polished up the lyrics later

A lot of the songs on 'Dirty Work' are credited to Jagger-Richards-Wood, but they're really Richards-Wood collaborations.

yeah, it seems to have been a closed shop to him since Mick and Keith patched things up in the late 80's. That's the thanks he got for making it happen!

Four studio albums of new material in the last third of a century.
