IN CELEBRATION OF THEIR ANNIVERSARY
SIXTY OF YOUR STREAMING FAVORITES
INCLUDING FOUR NEW TRACKS
FEATURING THE GREAT CHARLIE WATTS

...

1)  georgelicks at iorr dot org is an industry insider and reliable source,
who often knows more than what he says. yesterday, seemingly without
having seen what i wrote, he posted this:

"They should release a new compilation, SIXTY, with their Top
57-58 streaming songs and a couple of new songs ".

Quite a coincidence.

2) tiffanyblu at iorr dot org has done a great job accumulating their
streaming top 60 based on official numbers. The problem is that those
numbers are so impacted by prior HITS compilations so as to represent
nothing more than an echo chamber of what was, not what is now.

3) But if you paid all those streaming services enough money, they
could filter those numbers to identify songs that appeal to active
and youthful listeners who are selecting specific songs for their own
custom playlists.

4) These factors can also be approximated by looking at the
available youtube numbers.

5) Reversing the running order from #56 to #1 provides, i think,
an interesting journey towards the inevitable triumph of Paint It Black

shattered
not fade away
let it bleed
street fighting man
get off my cloud
bitch
hot stuff
little red rooster
2000 light years
(new track #1)

one hit to the body
happy
play with fire
the last time
monkey man
harlem shufffle
mixed emotions
rocks off
sweet virginia
(new track #2)

time is on my side
out of control
emotional rescue
ruby tuesday
honky tonk women
lady jane
tumbling dice
dead flowers
under my thumb
(new track #3)

let's spend the night
jumpin jack flash
streets of love
its only rock and roll
as tears go by
brown sugar
living in a ghost town
midnight rambler
time waits for no one
(new track #4)

you can't always get
like a rolling stone
love is strong
19th nervous breakdown
she's so cold
doom and gloom
wild horses
ride em on down
waiting on a friend
can't you hear me knocking

anybody seen my baby
she's a rainbow
beast of burden
start me up
miss you
gimme shelter
angie
sympathy
satisfaction
paint it black

Guitarist and occasional bassist for The Rolling Stones, Keith Richards says he has been playing bass a lot more on the new tunes.

Keith added "They'll get 8 or 9 new songs and like it".

They already have that metadata compiled and adjusting as needed.
Its how they push their suggested playlists and "more like" selections on you

Personally, I just want to see the FFSO Vol 2 and 3 finally come to light...if they even exist...no reason
they can't make Tattoo Two (I just made that name up!) with outtakes,
as they did with the original TY and/or the anniversary release last year.
They dont have to be new songs after all, they just have to be GOOOOOODDDDDDD!!!!!!

Let's go get drunk Let's go get drunk Let's go get drunk

Interesting data. And also juxtaposition-isms, especially if this is a (4-disc) running order..
Apart from The 4 Newies, it' pretty much a 50-50-ish split between pre-1971 and 1971+. Has a deal between done with Jodi Klein?
'Paint It' in the number 1 slot is always interesting, in that in some ways it's not a 'Sto' song', more a miserablist yet thumpy Bran song, beloved of the aspie-esque and manic-ish-depressives.
Funny if 'Streamers' starts with the throbbing 'Shattered'.
Lovely that 'Beef Curtains' and 'Hot' are in there. Where is 'Fool?
Should there be Exhibitionism-ish photos. 60 even, including 4 lovely CW portraits (if that's not too timely / obvious / lovely).
It would  then make sense - surely - to put out a  groovy and surprisingly interesting, groovy and Jordan-istical Stoonz album within another year,.
Meanwhile, is there any news out there in the ether of what style and/or tightness of truusers they were wearing during their recent recording in Jammers?

6-discs I meant - streaming aside - which might make it quite pricey.
That and all the streaking though -  this package should come up lovely.
