thanks for all the setlist updates, photos and videos. Great stuff.

Jim got so close there with his video camera it looked like they were playing in a club!  Jini always appears to be onstage!

It's amazing how Charlie always seemed to be the real bridge between Mick and Keith, and his passing seems to have brought them closer together than any time in the past 40 years. The intros and their interactions on stage clearly seem to show a reawakened affection for each other.

Was a moment where Mick missed a spot in 19th. Keith was standing right beside him and they had a big laugh, playing through it. Way more of that last night than I remember in the 26 years I’ve been seeing them. They also seemed to share a few laughs among each other about being winded/needing water.

Man, I watched the videos this morning and was just smiling ear to ear. It seems that their way of paying tribute to Charlie is by emulating his consistency, professionalism, and calm. They are so relaxed in the zone and the love between Mick and Keith especially is a joy to watch. And they're playing so damn well; this is probably the best I've heard Keith since the Zip Code tour.

Still baffled by the "Brown Sugar" absence, but that's a discussion for another thread. Really good set list; always up for "IORR" taking a break, and would've preferred "Shine" or "Eyes" to "Let It Bleed," but all around it seems like they gave a truly spectacular show. "Trouble's A-Coming" sounded fucking great and super locked in.

Yea, I cannot stop watching that "Jumping Jack Flash." That was fucking insane. Mick was out of his mind and it's good to see how can still do those quick sprints, but man Keith is also just on fire. Slashing and kicking and hammering the chords into the ground. He's alive again. "Before They Make Me Run" was also an incredibly strong performance. He can sing and play at the same time again.

Back yesterday and all refreshed and was able to process this event clearly.

IT WAS FANTASTIC!!

We got very lucky with our lucky dips.
2 of us in the PIT on Keefs side, the other 2 in Section A on the field right behind the PIT.

Like Nanky's post earlier, this was a truly great night for myself for similar reasons. I was sorry we didn't get to hang this time. A few other swell faces made the day even better. Hanging out with Sweet Virginia is always a treat.

When we bought these tickets 20 months ago or so, my girls would have been 14 (the same age I was for my first Stones show)...that was the plan.

This weekend they were 16 and at their first show with their old man...it was simply one of the happiest nites of my life.

The band was SHARP!
The girls were excited and a bit nervous...

They came out of the show fully baptized in the church of Rock and Stones.

From the full stadium experience to a full on Stones show up front and personal...Keef and Mick 20 ft away on the side catwalks...pyrotechs...and the huge screens...What they had seen on You Tube never did it justice...they were blown away by all.

The kicker was when one daughter, after the show, mentioned that she knew a lot of the songs from their Rock-a-by-Baby Stones CD...

Anyway...the show...

I was very impressed with the performance of Ghost town the song was played really well...all on the stage seemed to be in the groove. Jaggers actual performance, moves...rivaled what he does during songs like MR or OOC...

The Drummer...He was fine...all around...some noticeable fills here and there...a slight change up on some songs...but that is to be expected.
To paraphrase what Lennon's famously once said..." ..they passed the audition."

This show did not feel like they phoned it in. It couldn't possibly have been. Its a whole new thing for them, if that makes sense.
Ronny, Keef and Mick all sincerely looked and acted like they were having FUN...LOTS of fun up on the stage.

A few tears shed during the opening and the closing, sure...but the show was one of the best I have ever seen. This was the prefect way to walk away from all of this into the proverbial sunset.

If you have any doubts, just go and enjoy it.

Been waiting for your review PA.
So happy the ticket gods blessed you with those seats. Clearly those gods knew this was an extra special group of 4. Wink I've been fortunate to observe many of my friends sharing the magic with their own children and it's always so special for all, especially the "little ones" who literally have been listening to this Band since their days in the womb.

Thrilled for all of you. Sounds like a perfect soundtrack for that walk into the Sunset. Buffalo 2015 was the same for me. I'll never top it so why try?

A great one for any era. Ditto "Jack Flash." They went for blood there.

The pics posted earlier on my behalf (Jagger kneeling) was during MR...and YES! It was a great rendition. I cant get tired of that song live...and I mean performed in front of me live...it is really, to this day, a powerful piece to watch and hear.

I haven't seen any audience audio or video sources of Charlotte yet, but if and when any appear, I made some CD and DVD covers! I will post preview images and links to the full size covers, to follow.
