Initially filmed by the Maysles Brothers in 1983, this newly restored video is being released in conjunction with ‘Springtime In New York’, the next installment in the Bootleg Series, out September 17. Also featured on the track are Mark Knopfler, Mick Taylor, Sly Dunbar, Robbie Shakespeare and Alan Clark.

Back in 1987, when this album had just been released, I bought it and I didn't like it at all, stored and had decades not listening; I listened it today and it's good, I liked it! It's like a mix of funk and other genres, but nothing of "Rock and Reg" (a term I listened to Peter Tosh) that was the music I was expecting or at least some reggae...

From Wiki:
the band members lacked the motivation for touring and recording, which led to their disbandment in mid-1970

I only knew the one song (The Fish (Fuck-you) Cheer) from WSTK...the lyrics are rather poignant and true to the times...even for much of todays current military climate.

Lisa Robinson: Were they close prior to this tour?
Stu: Oh sure, but in fact, less than a month before we came to Montauk, they were still arguing about who was going to be the guitar player. Keith was really not sure about Woody, because he felt that Woody played too much like him, and that it wouldn't sound good. But Mick and I wanted Woody. The other guys were rather undecided. There was a fair amount of support for Wayne Perkins. Wayne is a lovely guy and all that, but it was difficult to imagine him onstage as part of the Rolling Stones. And I had been at that concert in Kilburn...you know, when Keith and Woody played together -- and it was great actually. It got panned largely because it was the Faces sound team doing it, and of course, their idea of a good sound is just lots of volume for the sake of it, and the acoustics of the place are horrendous, so the sound was a bit painful, but the feel was there. The approach was great and the 2-guitar thing was just fine. Eventually, Mick put his foot down and said, "Right, it's either going to be Woody or no tour".

Founder member of Traffic, he colaborated with The Stones on the Beggars Banquet sessions Street Fighting Man, Factory Girl), With Brian Jones and Jimi Hendrix on Electric Ladyland and played live with Keith R&R Hall of fame jam, with Ronnie on Gimme Some Neck, with Bill Wyman live, with Mick Taylor live 1988

In short another great passed away
