Rolling Stones to Play First Ever Concert on Mars

In a landmark moment for Martian music fans, legendary rockers The Rolling Stones will hold a free concert on of Mars, marking their first ever concert on the planet in their 50-plus-year career.

The show comes on the heels of relaxed international travel and trade with the Red Planet, including President Obama’s recent trip to the neighboring celestial body, the first trip to Mars by an American president since Elvis Presley quietly slipped President Nixon “a colorful mix of bennies, dollies and greenies” for the purposes of constipation relief in 1970.

“We’re just very excited and honored to play this show,” frontman Mick Jagger says in a press release from the band. “We’re not sure anyone will show up, but we’ve been doing this long enough that it doesn’t really matter anymore, to be honest.”

The concert will be held inside the Endurance impact crater, located at 1.9°S 354.5°E. If you have to ask how much tickets are, you probably can’t afford them.
