First off, thought I'd say hello & introduce myself. I don't make a habit of attending multiple shows each tour but I've still caught a show each tour since '94. I know that pales to most which is part of the reason I'm here. To learn new & exciting things. I live in a little hick town in the southern US south of Charlotte so I've seen the guys from Charlotte to Atlanta to Raleigh/Durham area. Btw, anyone have any good recordings from the Raleigh show? I make a point of having a copy of each show I've attended. And speaking of shows, ran across a copy of a Europe '73 recently. Looks to be Brussels but w/ Heartbreaker included in place of All Down the Line. Put out by WhyArts. Anyone familiar w/ this? Assuming it's from the same recordings but.... Anyway, great to be on board. I keep reading reviews of the Raleigh show slamming the mix & calling it sloppy. I know my sister & I were in 110 & it sounded pretty damned good to us & some friends a few sections over. Also it was far from sloppy. Aside from the beginning of Start Me Up it was like a nice loose show. They jammed out several songs to the 7 minute mark. Even Mick looks to have loosened up a lot & actually started having fun for a change. And Keith's playing on this tour was by far the strongest I'd seen in years. Regardless, great time as always!
