Temps in the high 90s with heat index well over 100 was challenging for everyone, but how a bunch of 70 year olds can perform at a top level under such conditions is simply amazing. Another great performance particularly if you enjoy the relative rare country selections as a change of pace. To be clear, this was not ATL in terms of tightness, energy, and audience participation but great particularly under the conditions. Sound system and Ronnie/Keef's playing was exceptionally good.
Security is learning with each show and the pre-show meeting focused on denying the self upgraders trying to get to the rail and front row w/o respecting those who paid top dollar for the right to be there. Nashville also eliminated those selling bootleg t-shirts outside the venue.
On the downside, the preparty at Baileys was an epic fail in a room w/o ac at 100+ F, lousy service and even worse food (french dip was 90% fat/grizzle and inedible and 30 min waits for beer).
