(Hollywood, Ca., March 31, 2015)  The Celebrity Apprentice show was a successful spin-off off from the Apprentice show and now comes word that ABC will launch the new show Celebrity Bachelor this fall as a spinoff from the from their successful Bachelor franchise.  The first celebrity bachelor to appear will be none other than the wrinkly rocker Sir Mick Jagger, lead singer for the Rolling Stones.  Jagger, 72 years old, has often been seen squiring around decades-younger women in the months after the death of his long-time girlfriend, L’Wren Scott in March of 2014.  In the upcoming show, Jagger will have the opportunity to interact with 25 women, ultimately having a chance to select one woman for a possible wedding proposal.  Jagger, who is currently preparing for a Rolling Stones tour this summer, was quoted as saying, “I am looking forward to appearing on the premier of the Celebrity Bachelor series.  I think that it will be fun and stimulating”.  He joked, “I hope that some of the women are Stones fans”.  It is believed that Jagger accepted the role in an attempt to broaden the appeal of the Stones music to younger generations of fans.  The show will be shot in late summer after the conclusion of the Stones upcoming tour and prior to a possible South American tour.
