(more speculation on my part)

I'm partly repeating myself, but what I was originally thinking is that there would be a rush-release of the
Nokia shows, to promote both the album and tour.

But now (because of the hints being shown at movie theatres) I think the second theatre show will be available live in theatres at least. Maybe on pay per view too.

So I'm already on to the business of speculating who the special guests will be. I think most helpful to the Stones would be Rihanna and Chris Martin.
Chris Martin would do it in a heartbeat I think, but Rihanna's management drives a very hard bargain. But Mick did publicize her recent birthday party,
so maybe I'll get my wish.

Rihanna on Brown Sugar!

(Courtney Love on Sister Morphine would be a hoot too)

(And Carlos Santana on Can't you hear me knocking!)

(And Miley's done Wild Horses at her own shows)

Two questions for your opinion/guess:
1) Who will be selling tix?  Ticketbastard?
2) Will there be "cheap" ($100) tix in the front rows as in previous tours?
Brainy

1) I read AXS
2) Doubt it. Dont think theyve done that since 2006, have they?

I see they now reckon Santa Clara might be replaced by Raleigh.

6/3 TCF Bank Stadium, Minneapolis, MN

6/6 Cowboys Stadium, Arlington, TX

6/10 Vanderbilt Stadium, Nashville, TN

6/30 or 7/1 Levi's Stadium, Santa Clara, CA

7/4 Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Indianapolis, IN

7/8 Comerica Park, Detroit, MI

7/11 Ralph Wilson Stadium, Buffalo, NY

7/15? Le Festival d'été de Québec, Plains of Abraham, Québec City, QC or RBC Royal Bank Bluesfest, LeBreton Flats Park, Ottawa, ON

http://thefestivalforecaster.blogspot.com/2015/03/getting-stickier.html

If Atlanta dates are accurate then Turner Field is out. But Bobby Dodd is a small shit hole GA Tech Field.....Hate the Dome too but better choice unless they feel it won't sell out. Nashville looms for me....

You will sit in Bobby Dodd Stadium and like it.

I saw the notations on IORR...Santa Clara vs Raleigh...
Raleigh makes more sense for the back end workings of a tour...sets, labor, etc...unless they have a spare set/crew  sitting in California or something like that.

Everything  is still technically "rumored"...and I know some of these dates are "firm and locked", but the Raleigh show would make more sense in the Orlando, Atlanta, Nashville portion of the tour...I have not been out to scout billboards as this is not a huge billboard type of place.

Trying to work on joining the Buffalo team...as i might already be up there at my lake cottage  about 100 miles from BUF.

FYI, IORR's BV now says it will be "15 On Fire"

Not a big deal, but that still seems unlikely to me.
Too dull a name for what I see as a newfangled
festival-type tour. So for now I'm sticking with
the "Just A Kiss Away" tour.

Which ticket agency depends on the venue, Ticketmaster no longer has a monopoly.  If AEG owns the venue (they own Nokia), AXS will sell the tickets since AEG owns AXS.

A lot of stadiums are no longer using TM. Comerica Park in Detroit uses tickets.com.

If the venue is owned by Live Nation, it uses TM, since Live Nation owns Ticketmaster.

RS.com will give links to the proper ticketing vendor.

If there is a SRO pit that they have had for the past two years, no, there will be no $100 front rows. If they keep with the Lucky Dip scheme, you can purchase a pair of tickets for $200 that might be in the pit or might be in the last row of the upper deck.  You discover the location when you pick up your tickets on the day of the show.  I got into the tongue pit twice out of seven shows in '13 with the Lucky Dips. I was lucky. If I remember, the other tickets in the tongue pit were sold as $1500 packages.

If anyone has booked or is looking to book at Hampton Inn West Seneca, send me a PM.

I have secured a group rate for us and have asked that members of the group be in rooms close to each other and to the outdoor patio.

Rooms  are going fast and the prices have risen since yesterday. If you have booked, contact me I can tell you how to get your room adjusted to the group rate.

hmmm...Summit in Buffalo? I'm trying to figure out my game plan and I'm not too thrilled about Orlando in June, its the rainy season here and its in the 90's and humid every day. I'm thinking: Go North!

The site I linked before has posted a new list slightly different to the previous. New Brunswick appears to have been substituted for Quebec.

Quote:
While we don't think that this will be "The Last Time" for the Stones, in the States or otherwise, we do think that this will probably be the band's last major tour of North America, whether or not announced as such.

Here are our latest "15 on Fire" Stones tour date predictions:

5/24 Petco Park, San Diego, CA

5/30 Ohio Stadium, Columbus, OH

6/3 TCF Bank Stadium, Minneapolis, MN

6/6 Cowboys Stadium, Arlington, TX

6/10 Bobby Dodd Stadium, Atlanta, GA

6/13 Orlando Citrus Bowl Stadium, Orlando, FL

6/16 or 17 Carter-Finley Stadium, Raleigh, NC?

6/20 Heinz Field, Pittsburgh, PA

6/23 Marcus Amphitheater, Milwaukee, WI

6/26 or 27 Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City, MO

6/30 or 7/1 Levi's Stadium, Santa Clara, CA?

7/1 or 8 Vanderbilt Stadium, Nashville, TN

7/4 Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Indianapolis, IN

7/8 or 15 Comerica Park, Detroit, MI

7/11 or 18 Ralph Wilson Stadium, Buffalo, NY

7/?? Magnetic Hill Music Festival, Moncton, NB

Plus:

5/16 Saturday Night Live, New York, NY, among other television appearances

5/19-21 Club Nokia and/or Nokia Theatre L.A. Live, Los Angeles, CA (2 filmed shows)

6/18 Live Earth Festival, MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, New Jersey?

Mid-late July? - Forest Hills Stadium, New York, NY (3 shows)?

Labor Day Weekend - Bumbershoot Festival, Seattle, WA?

We have faith in all of the city stops above except Santa Clara (or Raleigh), Seattle, Queens, and New Jersey.

they're not going to play 16,18 & 20 June. Three shows in five days?

Isn't Labour Day at the start of September? Cant see how they think the Stones will finish a North American Tour only to come back over a month later for a festival date.

I think at this late stage the current IORR list is pretty close to the final itinerary, aside from maybe a couple of 'special' dates at the start.  Its disappointing though that some of the more exciting rumours put forward in recent weeks/days seem to now be the ones that are arent going to take place at all (ie, Red Rocks)

I do find it amazing that Buffalo looks like being the only show in the entire north east of the US.

I think she just has that East Rutherford date in there
as an alternative, in case everything else for that
date falls through.

And now she has "15 on fire" too, which sucks, but...

perhaps some support for the cheap seats general
admission festival concept, from somebody apparently
in the loop about Indy @east of keystone:

"The Inpls Stones concert will be announced formally next week likely the 18th. Tickets will be $60 general admission...which at first sounds
a bit uncomfortable but who are we kidding...bunch of 55 yr olds aren't going to push/shove to be 10 feet closer to the stage."

Of course they'll be golden circle tiks too, but prepare
for a VERY young crowd and 2 or 3 festival-type
alterna-bands opening
