That's potentially 18 cities. There's realistically unlikely to be any more than about 14-15 shows. Pretty much all of them one-nighters. The only rumour Ive heard about a stop that'll be more than one night is the one about Forest Hills, NYC but I'm no so sure if thats such a solid one.

they resurected the former us open site as a concert site damn the neighbours!! lots of famous shows there zimmy included. ny/nj could also be the meadowlands aka the swamps of jersey

it's beginning to look like all the tiny venues were
simply plan B, in case any of the stadium shows were
not successfully negotiated.

its getting to look more and more like all stadiums,
except for the opener at the hollywood bowl

is that correct?

if so, very impressive. i didnt think they could pull off
a US stadium tour with big profits. (the US dollar
is so strong right now, which helps)

i guess they won't be needing that arena stage they
were building (according to Gazza)

now i think: big tik prices up close of course, but
surprisingly low prices for much of the seating.
making for a much better vibe probably.

And with very few exceptions forvery specific reasons ( catching a drumstick from B stage in 99...getting up to the very front and my mug on the giant screens in 2005, being 17 in 81 at MSG w/ the Stones) I totally agree...new songs, energy and great pre-party with StonesDoug and Shidoobee

Everything indicates the opener will be San Diego at PetCo Park (42K for a game, small) while the Padres are in LA and Anaheim on a road trip..nothing else is really firmed up as far as venue size or city, ex/ Orlando, Indianapolis, Raleigh, Buffalo/Rochester, Colorado
