They say a Rolling Stone gathers no moss and that's certainly true for Mick Jagger who at age 70 is still very much at the centre of both the music and fashion world.

On Tuesday night at the very rock'n'roll Chateau Marmont Hotel Mick was right by the side of his American girlfriend L'Wren Scott to help launch her new collection for Banana Republic.

Also attending the event were Mad Men actresses and bombshells Christina Hendricks and Jessica Pare, both wearing outfits from the Banana Republic L'Wren Scott Collection.

The event was hosted by Vanity Fair magazine with the magazine's West Coast editor, Krista Smith, co-hosting alongside L'Wren.

L’app, a free mobile app now available for iPhone
and iPod Touch. The app is an inside look at Scott’s
inspiration and design process. It features images
culled from the designer’s Instagram, Facebook and
Twitter accounts.

The app showcases the designer’s most recent
collections and look books of content spanning her
signature scent to accessories. L’App was designed
by Scott and was developed by Silicon Valley-based
Kerris Media, in collaboration with The Mobile Lab,
headquartered in New York.

At least she's given up on her pearls-of-wisdom
project #L'Wrenisms. But in its place we're getting
two others: #L'Wrenloves and #L'Appening.

And I really like how in this pic she tweeted, Mick has
literally become part of the furniture...
