The Year at the Classic Rock Awards!

Tonight the Rolling Stones won the accolade of Band Of The Year at the Classic Rock Roll Of Honour. The award was voted for online by readers of Classic Rock magazine.

In a video acceptance message Mick said: “We’re delighted to hear the Stones have been voted Band Of The Year! And yes we did have a fantastic summer in England, back on the home turf. Glastonbury was one of the most exciting gigs that I’ve ever done and Hyde Park was a really special summer’s evening. So, on behalf of Charlie, Keith, Ronnie and myself, thank you all so much for voting for us. See you all somewhere soon!”
