He doesn't look like him at all. He really gives the band a real swing and for Ronnie Lane to hire someone to play bass is a real compliment.

Someone may have written that somewhere because he's black but Willie Weeks looks completely different. I'm a huge Willie Weeks fan and I've followed a lot of his career and that's not him.

They all show the bass player for a few seconds, not a single close up

Reply #13 - Sep 9^th, 2013 at 12:58am Voodoo, take a look at the clip at around 1:50 and you can see the bass player quite well. He doesn't look like Willie Weeks at all. And on the clip you have, look at Willie Weeks' hairline, it's much fuller so it's not him. No one seems to know this guy.
