Hard to say, but I don't think so. Its either a long view of the park from the back of the field with the stage in the background (which is what I think it is) or a view of the field taken FROM the stage. If its the latter, it could be Kensington Palace (official residence of Prince William and Prince Harry amongst others) as its around that end of the park.

It's the bar in the back of the field.
I know this, cos that's where I stood; far away from my favourite band, but close to the beer, which
was not bad with 30+C...

Thats just the classic Stones marketing concept: they released that a collectors edition of ABB after everyone bought it as well...luckily I had come to my senses by that time and did not buy it. In fact I was desperately searching for reasons why I shouldnt use the copy I got as a frisbee.

Most of their DVD releases are edited. This is nothing new. They always do this. What I want to see is edited. It's like they are keeping tabs on what I want and then giving me everything but.

I'm glad I didn't bother with iTunes...shitty MP3 audio doesn't excite me. This release is better than nothing, I guess.

Just two. Live in Hyde Park and the Seeger Sessions Live In Dublin. The only one I can see myself in though is Four Flicks.

makes mental note to tell Some Guy that the Jap import news gets more insulting by the day. The three missing songs are available on the 'regular' Jap import - and apparently 'Emotional Rescue' is a 'bonus' on the Japanese deluxe version.

This is just the start of things. Apparently when the Stones next release a studio album, the Japanese deluxe import will be the only version that plays the whole way through until the end.

This isnt edited as such. They're releasing what is basically a full length show culled from two performances, as they did with the audio version of the release.

The fact that the DVD/blu ray is edited down by another 15-20 minutes in all but one (expensive) market is the problem. Had we all got the version that Japan is getting that would have been OK.
