I was at the pool yesterday and picked up one of the magazines in the commons...it was an Entertainment Weekly from 2 months ago.

I was shocked when I read this...a single ticket to a movie had just cost FIFTY US DOLLARS....then I thought of those times when I went to go see the Lord Of The Rings films on Christmas day...or Hollywood fluff like Independence Day on opening night...etc...No different than getting advance tickets to a concert or such...
