Got myself a Weissenborn

First saw one played on the St. Louis PPV for the Bridges tour.

Ronnie busted it out for Corina Corina and I remember being amazed by its twangy-ass sound.

Unfortunately, on No Security they heavily mixed it down so you can barely hear its beauty.

Someone here from way back explained what it was, where it came from, Koa wood, etc. And I kept an eye out for one ever since.

Lo and behold, last week, one shows up on Craigslist and I snagged it.

Been sitting around this morning doing some "thangs" and playing some swamp blues and trying to find some Stones tunes in it.

Tuned DADGAD, and I can get No Expectations, Doncha Bother Me, Turd on the Run.

Anyone ever play one?
Know any other good tunes?
