I saw 3 shows.
I look at the cash I have stashed away because I chose not to spend $650 per ticket.
Looking forward to a couple Pearl Jam shows later this year.
Got Waddy in a couple weeks.
...nope, not bitchy. You rock!

If the boys do Europe , there's a very good chance I will follow.  Having something like this to look forward to is priceless.

Quite a few mixed signals in recent weeks about this.

There's still rumblings about planned shows in October/November - although it seems financial guarantees is the sticking point as predicted, with one Italian promoter showing interest in putting on a show in Bologna only to be scared off by the band's asking fee. That would still indicate a willingness to play some shows and Jagger did mention a couple of months back about taking the summer off and then deciding what they'd be doing in the autumn.

On the flip side of that, I did hear last week that the road crew have been told they can make their plans for the rest of the year as they wont be needed. I dont know how reliable that info is, however - reading between the lines it does indicate that the band might only go on the road in Europe if there's a market for doing a sizeable amount of shows for a large enough fee per night to make them interested.

I have no money for more shows.
I had two fantastic shows this year.
Still.
I'M AFRAID IF THEY STOP FOR TOO LONG, IT'S GOING TO BE HARDER TO GET EM GOING AGAIN.
Depression sets in again........................ Oh no! not you again

Well, nothings confirmed either way so I wouldnt get too despondent.

I think it's evident they're quite happy to keep playing, and even if there aren't shows this year, they'll play again soon enough. Right from the off, this tour has evidently been an open ended thing with a 'wait and see' approach to everything with what plans they have being short term.

It could be that they have other plans for later this year. Jagger has been talking about having new songs he'd like to record, although personally I wouldnt hold my breath for that.

I still think it's more likely than not they'll play some shows.

Yeah ... good point.

I would love to hear some new material.  Would love to see Keith do something neat -- no crooning.  Tired of that.

ABB has some fantastic Stones, as does B2B.

Wanna take the second half off boys, how 'bout some tracks?

The usually reliable Stonesplanetbrazil have mentioned the possibility of a Sticky Fingers deluxe release at the end of the year, with the band reworking some of the unfinished songs for it (which would be a bit odd to me as some of the Exile deluxe reworkings were originally Sticky Fingers recordings), so if they are now choosing to do some studio work instead of touring later this year, I'd imagine thats a more likely scenario than making a new record.

More here (in Portuguese)http://stonesplanetbrazil.blogspot.com.br/2013/08/stones-devem-relancar-o-sticky...

Rough translation :
The Rolling Stones will release a reissue of the album Sticky Fingers in December. We do not have details, but the band may be covering a few things to add in new material as a bonus. The release will be similar to that of Exile, perhaps with luxury box, etc. There has been speculation about recording a new album, however this is unlikely

Yeah that is a bit odd.

What bootleg tunes are from that era (say '69-71) that have not been addressed with the Exile bonus disc?

Hillside Blues, Cocksucker Blues..there's not an awful lot that we know of, to be honest. Not that that'll stop them - as we've seen from the Exile and Some Girls bonus material, the Stones don't concern themselves much with historical accuracy when it comes to piecing together an archives release!
