Rocking out with his girls: Mick Jagger celebrates his 70th birthday early with the women in his life

Sir Mick Jagger was surrounded by celebrity pals and doting family as he celebrated turning 70 at an early birthday party in London.

The rock star chose to hold the merrymaking at Loulou's Private Members Club in Mayfair to also tie in with The Rolling Stones gig after-party On Saturday night.

He had just toasted an end to the Stones' epic 50th anniversary tour at Hyde Park on Saturday, after almost 44 years since the band's last appearance there.

Birthday boy: Sir Mick impressed with his tailored maroon suit and partner L'Wren looked stunning in a red dress and strappy heels

Mick looked effortlessly dapper in a maroon blazer jacket with black lapels, a crisp white shirt, dark maroon velvet trousers and running trainers.

His partner, L'Wren, 46, looked stunning in red, wearing a patterned knee-length red frock, strappy red shoes and drop pendant earrings.

She wore her long raven locks down and tousled, the pair looked elated as they showed up together outside the venue in the taxi.

Among the family members who attended Sir Mick's exclusive party were children Jade, James, Elizabeth and Georgia May, granddaughter Amba Jackson and long-term partner L'Wren Scott.

Jewellery designer, Jade, 41, looked as fashionable as ever, wearing a tailored black suit with shorts, exposing her trim and tanned legs, a white crochet long-sleeved top and a pair of turquoise strap kitten heels embellished with a pink flower.

Model, Elizabeth, 29, opted for a more eye-catching ensemble, in a Fuchsia chiffon blouse and garish purple velvet trousers, completing the outfit with a pair of simple black lace-up shoes.

Georgia May dressed casually for the occasion in a small red crop top, tie-dye dungaree shorts with a paisley print on the front panel and finished the outfit with a pair of black platform trainers.

The 21-year-old model left her blonde locks down and looked naturally cool, holding a pair of round sunglasses and a white rose.

Her brother James, 27, the frontman for punk band Turbogeist,also turned up to the London club looking smart-casual in a pair of dark denim jeans, and a silk short-sleeve printed purple shirt.

Granddaughter Amba Jackson, 17, smiled for the cameras as she was spotted smoking outside Loulou's in a green jumper, black skirt, ripped black tights and killer platforms embellished with spiky heels.

Band mate, 66-year-old Rolling Stones rocker Ronnie Wood couldn't miss the occasion, turning up with partner Sally Humphries dressed stylishly in a white shirt, purple trousers and brown leather and leopard print trainers.

Sally looked dazzling in an over-the-knee blue sparkly dress, tan high-heels and a pendant heart necklace, with her brunette hair perfectly blow-dried into loose curls.

Adding to the list of celebrities who joined in with the celebrations were Gossip Girl actor Ed Westwick, Ronnie Wood's son Tyrone Wood, actress Jaime Winstone and her actor boyfriend Alfie Allen, actress Alice Eve, and not forgetting Mick's bandmate, drummer Charlie Watts.

Although Sir Mick does not officially turn 70 until July 26, he nevertheless saw the end of The Stones' 50 & Counting tour as the perfect way to celebrate reaching the landmark age.

All the attendees looked to be suitably merry and partied-out as the evening played out.

Sir Mick Jagger hit the town to celebrate his 70th birthday hours after the Rolling Stones completed their second sell-out gig in London's Hyde Park.

The great and glamorous turned out to help Sir Mick celebrate his upcoming miletstone - he actually marks the big day on 26 July.

The star chose to celebrate both the show and his birthday together, and who can blame him?

His bandmates and children were out in force to make for a star-studded bash any rocker 50 years Mick's junior would have been proud of... "

Keith not being there is no big deal. Let's not read into it. He's tired and he wanted to go to bed after a fantastic gig.

Did any other band members attend?

I find it sad that Keith did not attend in light of the fact that Charlie and Ronnie were there. Speaks volumes about the sad state of the relationship of the Glimmer Twins.

A picture tells 1000 words...........Which is probably about 900 too many.

MT was at LouLou's, in a rather nice jacket (although obv. not looking quite as lovely as Georgia).

Re. The Big Sleep... has anyone heard / enjoyed / nodded off to the lullabies of 'Rolling Stones For Babies'...?
