gk. who is going to the Super Bowl??

Its as wide open as a Stones stadium show but......

Pats versus Seahawks with Brady taking it. If that happens considering Pats injuries and number of rookies it would propel Bellichek into top 3 alltime coaches imho.

New Orleans Saints Jimmy Graham and Jahri Evans named NFL All-Pro

By The Associated Press on January 03, 2014

NEW YORK (AP) -- New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham, who was chosen on 49 of 50 ballots, was named first-team All Pro, while guard Jahri Evans was a second-team selection in balloting announced Friday. Peyton Manning is the only unanimous choice for the 2013 Associated Press NFL All-Pro team.

It's Manning's seventh time as a first-teamer, tying Hall of Famer Otto Graham for the most by a quarterback. The Denver star set NFL records this season with 55 touchdown passes and 5,477 yards through the air.

He was chosen Friday on all 50 ballots from media members who regularly cover the NFL. Manning also was an All-Pro in 2003, '04, '05, '08, '09 and last season.

Graham and Indianapolis outside linebacker Robert Mathis each drew 49 votes. Philadelphia running back LeSean McCoy and Seattle cornerback Richard Sherman had 48.

The Eagles, the Saints' first-round playoff opponent, had three players named All Pro: McCoy, tackle Jason Peters, and guard Evan Mathis.

Minnesota kick returner Cordarrelle Patterson is the only rookie on the squad.

Eighteen NFC players and nine from the AFC have made the team.

Some Philly fans are no-class motherfuckers.

Here in NOLA, we'll invite the other side to come drink with us.
We may not buy, and you might get some taunts, but you just don't hear of Saints fans doing this kind of shit:

NFL playoffs: Saints fans cancel 'Rocky run' in Philly following threats from Eagles fans

...
Saints fans planned on running the steps like Rocky -- until Eagles fans stepped in ((AP File Photo))

By Eliot Shorr-Parks/NJ.com
on January 03, 2014 at 11:46 AM

PHILADELPHIA -- So much for that idea.

With the New Orleans Saints and their fans coming to Philadelphia on Saturday for the NFC wild-card game between the Saints and the Eagles, members of the New Orleans media tried to put together a 'Rocky run' for their fans.

In principle, it was a cool idea. The Rocky statue, the movie, and the running of steps are always a must for anybody visiting Philadelphia.

It doesn't look like it will turn out as planned, however.

After news of the Rocky Run spread, and threats were made via social media, the run was cancelled. (Remember: Philadelphia police already have announced officers will attend the game dressed as Saints fans to stop Philly houliganism.)

Canceling the run was probably a wise idea, because some fans appeared ready to turn a cool idea into an ugly one.

Here are some of the reactions to the run, from Twitter and in the comments section promoting the run.

From the NOLA.com post promoting the run:

"We will be waiting in our black and green at the top for you. Bring it" -- Diggity0607

"Y'all may be crazy. Philadelphia is one of the few cities in the NFL where they actually will physically abuse you for dressing like a Saints fan.

You can bet good money that when the game starts, if you are dressed as a Saints fan, you will get pelted with snowballs and maybe beers in plastic cups.

Literally, my Philly friends invited me up for the game, but only if I didn't dress like a Saints fan.

Some comments from fans on the run at Philly.com:

"Everyone fill up a pillowcase with doorknobs and lets go!" -- Sidewinder7

"Get your snowballs ready!-- Chocolatethunder

Saints: 7 penalties for 85 yards.

Eagles: 4 penalties for 38 yards.

ref: http://stats.washingtonpost.com/fb/boxscore.asp?gamecode=20140104021&home=&vis=&...

Perhaps I could claim that Goodell is still trying to keep the Saints down, but that would be a stretch.

Bottom line, the Saints just out-played and out-coached those sore-losing Yankee motherfuckers despite penalties and lacking a couple of key players in the lineup last night.

It must suck to be an Eagles fan right now, especially for those tough-talking "fans" and I'm just loving it.  LOL
