Maybe being bad is more fun than being good...

Yep, everyone is entitled to their opinion, even if it is wrong.
I don't even know how many shows I have been to but last night's was amazing.
Early on Mick asked how everyone was doing, and he mumbled something like "I'm doing pretty well myself tonight" and he REALLY was. He put on a show like I have never seen from him --he was full of piss and vinegar and was really into the Philly crowd (which was exceptionally into this show and very interactive). It was contagious - the whole band got into it. At one point, I believe during Sympathy, Mick came down the left side of that tongue and I really don't think his feet touched the stage -- he was floating!
A couple of days ago someone said Mick looked tuckered out. Well, he got some rest -- holy shit that guy is just absolutely amazing. Stunning.
If anyone got tired, I thought that Keith looked tired by the end. But his playing was dead-on -- aside from a few guitar issues here and there, his sound was full, crisp and clean, contrary to what others had said about Keith's tone. Sounded good to hear our hero just cranking because for me, the hook that got me in the first place was that Keith guitar.
Most improved player is Ronnie Wood. Thank god he got his shit in a pile since ABB, because his playing has really filled out their sound. Played the B-bender a lot last night and it sounded fucking great. Gotta get me one of those -- they look like fun.
Charlie - really! That fucker can sure make some noise! During Sympathy and Start Me Up, Jesus I am shocked he didn't bust through those drums.
Mick Taylor -- naturally could have seen more of him, but just seeing him was amazing. He is having the time of his life -- you can just see it. Howe can he not miss that!
Paisley was great and Dead Flowers got a nice extra guitar solo from him. It was delightful. Nice to see a guest in proper attire too (the Stones shirt, not the cowboy hat (goober))!
I won't give a song-by-song. The setlist was shorter and not particularly creative, but seriously it really did not matter. After a 7-year hiatus, it is great to be sore, hoarse, and 3 pounds lighter than I was yesterday.
Was great seeing everyone and nice meeting a few new folk. SV - nice to finally meet you -- cannot wait to see your pics.
I saw so many faces, I cannot even remember y'all. See many of you in DC!
The rain kinda screwed the pre-party plans up, and somehow we got separated from the rest of the RO crew which is unfortunate. I did get to Xfinity, but it was so packed and I ended up outside by the firepit. Ran into Dawn -- she's so sweet!
And when I say rain. Wow....just as I was coming into Philly, the skies opened up and it poured for a solid 20 minutes. Traffic was at a near stand-still. I got off exit 17 and it was flooded. Thank god I had the 4-wheel - they closed it down right behind me.
Saw Moongoddess back at the hotel just as I was getting to ready leave. Sorry it was such a short chat, but thank you for the kind words and prayers -- your thinking of me was touching.
Worth all the bucks I paid, and truly one of the best shows I have ever seen.
