I am a little bit sorry to admit that Mick Taylor makes a lots of false note during his playing .Just listened to the last CYHMK, the guy is not at his best , he seems wanted to do most that he can .
Anyway his playing will be better with more rehearsals ? i hope he will be ok for the next European Tour if there is one ?

I didn't notice it that much, unless you want to play the solo exactly like the record, most players improvise anyway, how many lead guitarist's play a solo exactly note for note like the record, some players go of somewhere else but they remain in the scale it's played in, another thing is that he standing out like a solo artist, if you take a player playing something entirely on his own, his mistakes always stand out, but with a band it's covered up, I've seen Keith & Ronnie do the same in the past.
Another thing is did Mick T. actually rehearse with The Stones? I don't thing so at all.

"False notes" from one song? Unwarranted, petty judgement, don't you think?
