The Rolling Stones' Mick Jagger: 'I'll be camping out at Glastonbury for the whole weekend'
Singer also reckons he will find cooler places to hang out than his daughters

The Rolling Stones' Mick Jagger has revealed his plans for Glastonbury, confirming he will be camping out with his family for the duration of the Worthy Farm bash.

The Stones are due to headline the event along with Arctic Monkeys and Mumford & Sons over the weekend of June 28-30. Jagger told Q magazine: "I've got nothing else to do on Glasto weekend, and I want to spend some time with my family and have a good time as well. We went camping all the time when I was a kid. Camping in France was our family holiday. And we brought baked beans with us, as we didn't trust that fancy foreign food. We were so totally English."

He also said he won't be relying on his daughters Jade and Elizabeth to find the coolest places to hang out at Worthy Farm. "I don't need them to show me the cool places to go. I'm sure I can find some places of my own that are much cooler," he said before adding that he wasn't worried about getting hassled by fans at the festival.

Meanwhile, Keith Richards has admitted he owes library fines going back 50 years. "It was a place where you get a hint there was a place called civilisation," he said of the library in Dartford, Kent. "I still owe fines from about 50 years ago."
