I can only assume there must be a UMG convention on somewhere this weekend and, as fate would have it,  all the artists who have inspired the Stones over the last 50 years (and counting) are performing at it.

well, she's going to have to fix that vocal flub at some point if its going to be released. Either she gets another go at it in concert somewhere or she can re-do it at home via pro tools when she's on the toilet.

or maybe they'll just edit the song very clumsily, put it out and just hope no one will notice the glitch. Nah, on second thoughts, that'd NEVER happen on a Stones live record!  Cheesy

Well since they're in Anaheim. Mike Ness might be around. Seeing him play with the Stones would be cool. You rock!

Even I would consider paying a few hundred for THAT !

I'm amazed Social Distortion have never opened for the Stones down the years. They'd be an incredible support act.

Ronnie tweeted a pic of himself with Slash a little while ago.

Maybe he's tonight's special guest?

(To save anyone looking, I just checked. He's on a wonderfully named label called Dik Hayd International, which is, you've guessed it, a subsidiary of UMG).

So it's a given. Plus him and Ronnie are good friends......Just checked my phone. Still no vote for Anaheim. Looks like their won't be one.

Saw him guest with Ronnie in Dublin in December 2001. Im not a GnR fan, but he was absolutely amazing and turned in a show stealing performance that night,

I'm hoping the UMG pattern is connecting the ease with which they get a hold of the guests to perform at the shows, rather than indicating a live alum. hoping and praying

Was that story true that during the Voodoo Lounge sessions, Slash offered to put some guitar on "Thru and Thru" and Keith replied something to the nature of : "Don't touch my fucking track."

Keith is no fan of these 3rd???? (maybe 5th??) generation rockers, he's more at home with Scotty Moore, Ronnie is the type of guy (Like Alice Cooper) who makes friends with everybody.

If they are using Keith Urban's Respectable then they need John Mayer on a different track if he is going to make the album.

Slash's tweet to the Stones suggests he'll be seeing them on the 20th - which would indicate a guest appearance at Staples that night instead

Ah yes.  Although, he did also play on "Going Down" also so they could have that as an option as well.

Whatever guests appear on stage with the Stains- and I've prefer the ladies - what's most important, shirley, is that the band have (hopefully/presumably) been spending almost every spare mo' during their days off rehearsing un-expected 'hidden classics' to spring on audienves, such as:

Lo' Do'
It Must Be Hull
Might As Well Read Proust
She Saw Me Back-Combing
Hey Niggly Rita
One Hit (With A Brolly)
Suck On The Jugs
and
