POST 2, unfinished (will use both to make a space of LZ/RS COnnection similar to the one we have for Jimi Hendrix/RS
1964 Jimmy Page records “Heart of Stone” with Mick Jagger (Metamorphosis version) 1965: Mick Jagger, Bill Wyman and Stu play with Jimmy Page at Jimmy Page house. The song s “Snake Drive”, “Draggin' My Tail “ and “West Coast Idea” were later worked at the Olympic Studios and were officially released on the album 'Blues Anytime Volume 1 & 2 later in 1968 1966 Jimmy Page recorded with Brian Jones the soundtrack “Degree of Murder” PICT 1966 Mick Jagger and Jimmy Page recorded with Chris Farlowe a version of “Out of Time” 1967 Stu records with the Yardbirds (inc. K¿Jimmy Page) the song “Drinking Muddy Waters” released later on the album “Little Games Sessions & More” released in 1992 1970 Stu with the Rolling Stones Mobile recorded Led Zeppelin untitle album known as either Led Zeppelin IV or Zoso, during the sessions the song “Rock and Roll” was “written” (the Led Zeppelin style,,, please read plagiarism) and Stu was key to have it in the final version… this is from pout Stu space at Rocks Off: “This track (rock and Roll) came out of a jam with The Stones’ mentor Ian Stewart on Piano. Bonzo played the intro of “Good Golly Miss Molly/Keep a Knokin’”, and Page added a riff. Fifteen minutes later the nucleus of R&R was done on a tape – displaying the full benefits of recording on location with the tapes ever running”
1970 Stu co wrote “Jamming with Stu with Led Zeppelin, later released on “Phsyical Graffiti”: Ian plays piano and co-writes "Boogie with Stu" which is also dedicated to him. A loose jam recorded at the same sessions that produced Rock & Roll for the 4th album. This has Ian Stewart, the Rolling Stones’ tour manager and resident boogie-woogie specialist, playing barrel-house piano. Heavily based on Richie Valens’ 50s hit “Ooh My Head” (check “La Bamba” movie), hence the credits to his widow. Credits for the song includes Page, Plant, Bonham, Jones, Ian Stewart and Mrs. Valens (Richie Valens Widow). 1975 Jimmy records with Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood “the Rover” 1975 In addition to the “heart of stone” version with Jimmy apparently the “metamorphosis” version of “out of time” has also Jimmy on guitar 1983 Jimmy Plays with Bill Wyman and Charlie Watts the “ARMS” concert PIC 1985 Jimmy Page records with the Rolling Stones the song “one hit” for Dirty Work 1985 Bill Wyman plays with Jimmy Page for Bill’s band “Willie and the Poor Boys”
