Will Mick Taylor be playing full shows with the band on this tour or just guest spots on select songs like last year?

It'd be the most amazing thing in the world to see Mick and Bill play a whole show and let Ronnie and Darryl Jones sit out this tour.

Why not Ronnie on Bass ? like on Fingerprint File on the TOTA 1975.

Ouch!

It's insanity that people consider Ronnie Wood to be anything more than simply a journeyman guitarist.

Dude, we have shows now in 2103. The most amazing thing in the world is to see this band onstage. Get a ticket and enjoy it. There will be time enough to think of fantasy scenarios in the future.

Yeah, lets shit-can a loyal band member of almost four decades standing and bring in someone who has made it clear a zillion times that he doesnt want to rejoin the band, doesnt care for the band's music anymore, doesnt want to leave home for long stretches and who wont even get on a plane.

Bill had the courage of his convictions to move on to a life beyond The Rolling Stones. Pity a section of the band's fanbase won't allow him to do so.

At the very least sideline Ronnie for Taylor, who can actually play guitar and isn't just a lesser copy of Keith.

In which case maybe he should be replaced by Steve Vai.

You could make the same argument about Keith. Should they replace him as well because of his diminishing chops?

Ronnie played much better than Taylor at the 02 gig 25/11 that I was at..I think its a bit delusional to think that Taylor will reach his 69-74 level of playing again. Ronnie, like Bill, doesn't get the true respect he deserves sometimes, listen to Ronnie on the Zematis and Strat and tell me Taylor could now do better.

Mick Taylor is touring again with the Rolling Stones.

Stop and think about that.

I've visualized this moment for years, and dismissed it as a pipe dream.

I don't know how many songs, or which songs, he'll play on, but I couldn't be happier.

Can/could Michael T play, or add to, or get in the way of, a lovely live & live offering of  '(I'll Never Be Your) Beef Curtains', 'Hang Fireplace', 'Everything Is Turning To Golf', 'Suck On My Jugulars', 'Rain Fall Do'' or etc. ?

The idea of hearing 'Fileprint File' re-groovulated is nice.

remove the guy who for the most part has been the only guitar player… adding a third guitar, when you have everyone firing at their best, for their ages, right now, would be bad… the sound should be full, and if the mix is good, it will be a very beautiful rock show!!! Enjoy it….

Ronnie aint going anywhere..and why should he. He and Keith are probably cleaner than ever and played great in2012. If Keith at MSG on Saturday is any indication...the best is yet to come Taylor or no Taylor!
