Well, cheaper than when I saw them @ The Madison Square Garden in 2002 and with the same results: the next day I didn't remember a thing of the show so why pay, better sleep on a fence for free

....and so am I!

My final show of this tour was tonight...and it ended exactly the way it started on Opening Night:  in the nosebleeds.  The $85 got me far and away in section 308 and my upgrade method that I've been using on all my shows did me nothing tonight.  I spoke to 7 ushers, and all said no to an upgrade.  Huge fat No's from everyone.   Apparently, this show was sold out and there were no seats to upgrade to.  And specifically, they were apparently given SPECIFIC orders not to upgrade any person from the $85 group.  So that was that.

"Miss You" was surprisingly VERY well received.  Mick went a little extra on the "woo woo" sing a long in the middle...giving us about 4 or 5 run throughs of that part.  Mick really seemed to be in a VERY good mood.  Even giving us a little bit more of Sinatra's "My Kind of Town" after a song. The crowd ate it up.  It really felt like a rowdy audience tonight; we were totally with them.  There was an almost rumble brewing by the time Taylor was wrapping up his solo on CYHMK.  By the time we got to the very end, the audience seemed as if they were going to burst.  When the final note was played...an eruption.  The audience knew EXACTLY how special this was and it was like we all let out a big sigh of relief that we finally got this.  We were hoping this would happen...and thank goodness: it did.  High fives and hugs were given everywhere next to me as people in the crowd were in awe of what they witnessed.  "I never thought I'd EVER see that in my life!!" I heard one person say.  "Midnight Rambler" was very loose and the band deviated slightly in the middle with some interesting changes.  Mick took his time (longer than usual) doing the "mmm hmmms" and the "OW!" back and forth with the crowd.  He seemed like he was genuinely enjoying himself.  In fact, tonight was no different than any night where Mick really seems to be finding new moments to enjoy in each of the songs.  He's either adding a specific vocal part or focusing more on certain lines, but his concentration on singing on this tour has had such a HUGE, wonderful impact on the show.

During the band intros, Mick mentioned that it was almost Charlie's birthday and the next thing we know...Chuck plays a few chords on the keyboard and we're all singing "Happy Birthday" to Charlie.  Like the whole song.  Keith comes out and joins in on the sing a long.  About 10K singing to Charlie...it was such a great moment.

Justin, thanks from all of us who couldn't make any of the shows for one reason or the other.  You really helped bring them alive for us.   stu-smiling

The setlist is pretty - called Shine a Light + extra Taylor!
What a treat.

Sheryl on ADTL is a nice touch.  They give her appropriate songs! Kiss my undercover ass

Very envious of our crew!!

Thanks Justin for the videos, we get a little bit of the concert ourselves, thanks for bringing this to us, I was just wondering the video freezes when Mick is to start his solo, the audio is there, I was just wondering what happened? how can you get a audio but no video? did the monitor screen freeze for the concert?

'tws a great show, plenty of energy, guitar players were sober, band seemed happy.  My voice is gone.  I beseeched god often.  Pissed and drank during the Gloom and Moof interlude.

What band they are.  Remarkable fitness.  Jagger just going all out to put on a world class show.

I saw some guy who looked like Telecaster, and went up to him like I was going to shake his hand, then elbowed him right in the thorax.  Right in the goddam thorax.  He dropped like a can of tuna fish.

Wish I had met some of yinz, but I busted into town late and had to hustle to find a party.  I'm getting liquored up today, if anyone is in downtown Chicago and wants to bash, send me an email here and please include contact info and your ethnicity.

Well it was my pleasure everybody!  I had a lot of fun doing it and I'm so happy that others got to come along for the ride!

Thanks for the header check!!  That is such a wonderful gesture!

My original video of CYHMK had a weird freezing issue so I've deleted and replaced it with a re-upload, free from freezing.  If you could replace it in the header--that'd be swell!

Justin, thanks for sharing this video with us!

MT. What else needs to be said? The man's a boss and he knows it.

One other thing... many have rightfully talked smack about the quality of the video productions that the Stones have "officially" released on this tour... but whoever put that video together (in real time) did a great job. Nice camera angles and panning on cue.

I know!  I didn't know I could do it until last minute.  I went to that goddam bar on Ogden, which is where I decked Telecaster, or someone who I thought looked like him, but saw no one from RO.   I love my RO friends.  And I fucking love the Rolling Stones.

Great show!  They should ditch the Taylor moof-fest on the backsnot of CYHMK.  And Sheryl Crow can go.  But that is nitmoofing.  Our band is fucking good, and playing like they care, and I love them.
