He's lived the good life for decades since shooting to fame in the '60s as one of the founding members of the Rolling Stones.

But it would seem years of decadence had finally caught up with Keith Richards after he stepped out sporting a sizeable paunch on Tuesday night.

Enjoying a romantic date night with his model wife Patti Hansen at London's Le Petite Maison, the ageing rocker appeared to have fallen victim to the middle-aged spread.

Unfortunately for the 69-year-old musician, his choice of bright aqua shirt only served to accentuate the paunch he was packing as he headed out for dinner.

In addition to his vibrant shirt, the star opted for a typically eccentric ensemble which screamed 'rocker', teaming an unusual black bomber jacket with jeans and leather boots.

The music legend completed his look with a charcoal grey scarf scraping his hair back off his face and a gunmetal grey chain-detail silk scarf adorning his neck.

Although 'Keef' had appeared to have suffered a little weight gain in recent months, the same could not be said for his stunning wife.

Grinning from ear-to-ear as the couple emerged from the exclusive eatery, former Calvin Klein model Patti looked incredible in a pair of form-fitting leather trousers and a faux fur gilet.

But Richards wasn't the only Rolling Stones rocker hitting the town on Tuesday night.

Bill Wyman showcased a private viewing of his new exhibition Reworked at Rook & Raven Gallery in London's Rathbone Place, where he posed proudly alongside his wife Suzanne and daughters, Katherine, Jessica and Matilda.

Wednesday night could be a big evening for the Rolling Stones, with the rockers nominated for Best Live Band, Best Book, Music Moment of The Year and Best Music Film at the NME Awards in celebration of their series of sell-out 50th anniversary concerts in 2012.

Yeah,those are cool. He doesn't look any fatter than he has been the last couple of years. Better question is,what's he doing in London?

Middle age spread? he is just looking like a normal person, how many people at his age (of course Mick hasn't got it) got pot bellies? I mean he can't be 20 or 25 looking forever, everybody (well, some people) are thin when their young, & of course when they get that old, their more wiser & laid back, not running around like a teenager.

I'm only 47 and wish I only had Keith's spread ! He's 69 ffs !

Keith needs to tour with the Stones and play 2 hour shows every other night, he'll trim up just fine.

Since when is age 69 middle age? If most look that good near 70 than bring on "the middle age spread".

Love the monogramed initials on his shoes!....Wonder if they are for sale anywhere...for under $200.......
