So the Stones AND Bill Wyman will play Glastonbury.....

Interesting, however if they play together, it will be all just wasted on that crowd.

Saw that elsewhere Gazza. I hope it's true as I'm not looking forward to the scramble for arena seats for our stateside trip. Don't really want to be disappointed by sitting in nosebleeds in an echo chamber somewhere in Eastern USA, especially after the life affirming nights in the London pit Wink Would rather see an "event" like this, hopefully with some sort of golden circle arrangement. Let's go get drunk

Fingers crossed for Glastonbury returns.

Can sort of understand it, to some degree

The May-June North American leg would be in arenas, using their own stages, large crew etc.

Glastonbury, Hyde Park , Quebec (if it comes off) and any other such massive gigs are part of someone else's festival. Less overheads for the band in terms of crew and staging and easier to plan. There's nothing to suggest (so far anyway) that they'll be playing the sort of stadium dates that we've been used to on their tours through the last few decades.

Lots of talk about Aussie tour. Dainty to handle it. And ironically, and i didnt know this, the group that won the bid for the upcoming U.S. shows own several arena's and stadiums here in Oz. So thats a bit of an interesting fact. Wonder it will mean cheaper tix? Anyway, as for Aussie tour, i hear its "a lock".

All these festival dates makes me think that Mick is really looking for a challenge to work for on this mini tour.  It seems he is challenged when there is something big dangling over his neck.
