May as well throw in for good measure Ronnie's comment after his "Ronnie Wood & Fiends" gig that I attended in March 2005 in London.
It went so well that he said afterwards he planned to do something similar every month.
Almost eight years on, I'm still waiting on the first of the follow-up gigs!
The only members of the Rolling Stones I take seriously when it comes to making definitive statements about future work are Mick Jagger - and probably Charlie. I'd have more faith in something coming from Chuck Leavell than I would from Ronnie, to be perfectly honest.

I agree Gazza. I totaly agree with you there... Didn't I state take this comment with a few large grains of salt... Woody is probably (well easily) the most unreliable source of news from the entire Rolling Stones camp. In fact he's wrong or it's his comments are not factual far more than they actually occur.
HOWEVER ... notice the big however. YES I think they will make another album. <...and yes when they decide to I presume you'll say it is because Universal wants them to and they really do not ... OR that it somehow is not their choice and they really aren't into it or something

or it is simply a product to help sell some live shows etc....rather than simply taking it for what it is in sayin yes...they still have a want and desire to be writing and recording....(sure...nowhere near as much as they used to but yep... they will make another album.. Why? Because they WANT to).
How do I know this... Well I cannot predict the future... I don't KNOW what's going to happen from day to day with 100% certainty but as I understand it they plan on continuing as a ..."band" ...and that will include albums until they say they do not want to continue anymore. This "50 and Counting" stuff is not a farewell ...hence the title... That is unless something occurs in which they have no control. Instead of everyone reading into it... why not just take it for what it is and what they are saying ...
