Better chance to be done by Ron Bennington...Stern has had Woody on in the past...
Bennington has had both Woody and Charlie on this past year...and they were both great interviews ( Woody was w/ Kenny Jones)

i would love to see Jagger on Bloomberg ...or on Financial News Network...and talk about the cost of touring and the monies to be made.

Maybe a run on Jimmy Fallon's show...THAT would more be more of a possibility.

Some comedians tease their guests, but Howard Stern is just plain mean! And, he is not funny!

you may not like his humor, but he has intervied many greats, and is by far one of the best ever. He get's people to talk about themselves, very personally. Many people have said it is amazing how comfortable they feel with him. how many interviews of his have you heard, just his recents, like Lady Gaga, Billy joel, Ron Howard just in 2012 alone... it's mind blowing... it's uncensored and honest... fuck it if you hate him and his show, he still is the best interviewer ever!!!

Howard is a great interviewer...one of the best...and a HUGE STONES FAN...when he interviewed Stevie Wonder ( also a HUGE fan of his) he was in awe and very respectful.
His interview w/ GaGa was also top notch...i am now a fan of hers because of the interview ( not the music, but the person...which is who Stern taps into)

Macca is on every 9 months or so...and loves being on there...personally, I think Jagger is too much of a stiff to have know how to have fun like that...to business all the time of a sort.

Howard Stern used to have a show on the E channel. Actually, it was his radio show broadcast on the E channel, so you got to see and hear everything.

Sometimes, I would be sitting on the couch painting my nails, and didn't want to mess up my manicure. So I would just leave the T.V. on whatever channel it was originally on. Unfortunately, he would come on, and I would watch his dumb show. (But, as soon as my nails dried, I would change the channel!)

He was very, very cruel. I think I've shared this story before. He once interviewed a transgendered woman. The correct term for a transgendered woman is "she". But, Howard and his cronies kept referring to her as "it"!

To make things worse, the transgendered woman's beautiful daughter was present, and listening to their every word.

IT WAS ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!

They kept saying things like, "Oh my God! It reproduced!"

The poor girl left the studio in tears! Real tears! The pain on her face was heart-breaking!

Another time, he interviewed Carnie Wilson and her then fiancee. Carnie has struggled with her weight all her life. At the time, she had lost a lot of weight, but she was still chubby. Anyways, Howard Stern asked her fiancee, why he was marrying a fat girl! "You're a thin, attractive guy. You can do better. Is it money and fame you're after?" He then preceded to ask them very personal questions about their sex life!

Gorda...i am not debating this...you are not a fan...though i can tell you have not listened to his radio show...i have been listening to him since the day before he was fired from NBC...

literally, that was my first day....I am a fan...and I have great respect for him...his battle against censorship, his forthrightness, honesty and his commitment to his family and friends.

This thread started out saying that he would be a great interview w/ Jagger & co...I actually disagree with that, I think Keith would be a greeat interview...Ron Wood has been in the past...but Jagger, not so much...I don't think Jagger knows how to have fun and drop his act and be real...it is always a performance w/ him...always about the product ...ALWAYS... and never about the person...NEVER
Stern would probobly end the interview after 20 minutes because it would go no where...

He really is one of the greatest interviewers...I just wish if he did get Jagger on there, that Stern show announcer, George Takai, would be on there as well...that would be great radio!!!

Stern and 0'Really are about as mainstream as you can get. Both are masters (though in very different cultural/generational aspects) of the Theatre of Cruelty.
Humiliation is their specialty.

Keep in mind too, he was making that comment to the fiancee to point out the absurdity of how she was always considerd fat first. That's his gift, he can say something so truthful, in a way it isn't brutal, but the honesty allows his guests to open up and speak about the things we think, but are afraid to say often... He's not for everyone, no doubt, but top notch interviewer, despite his comedic approach...

george was great this week... almost got me to want to see Les Miserable... but!!! the Stern show musical idea sounds funny as hell... you're right too, Jagger would probably stay stiff, but if there is a person who might get him to open up, it is howard!!! That is why i wish the attempt be made. I love how Keith is a fan, even though Stern rips him for bashing Jagger, shows keith gets it!!! The real irony is, ho everyone thinks he is racist, homophobic and exploits the disabled. In fact he has done more to show these people are not different, and has made many disabled people famous, given them opportunities at careers, and done more as a public figure to help get equality for gays than almost anyone I can think of... when it comes to race, I'm not even going to defend him. Only an ignorant person would think he is racist, showing how much of prejudice those have to him, contempt prior to investigation. to say he is perfect, or hasn't said stuff I think was out of line would be false, but I do know this. Being on a Stones site, and saying howard may be immoral or whatever is a joke. Jagger alone, has exploited women in ways that anyone who claims Stern is mean to women makes my head spin... people that don't like Stern, wouldn't like being around me. I have the same sense of humor and identified with him, at the age of 13, just like I did with The rolling Stones and punk rock... I thank allah everyday, that all are still huge parts of my life!!! rant over!!! rock on!

Some of the stuff said against Howard can be said of the Stones too. Racist. Hates women. Not funny. Jesse Jackson protested the Some Girls album over Mick's lyrical content like "Black girls just wanna get fucked all night", and the Stones have been cited as having really misogynistic, violent and drug-praising lyrics. Let's not forget Bill Wyman, who was having sex with a 13 year old girl when he was in his 40's.
