By the sound of it, there could indeed be quite a few small gigs between now and the 25th November.

Corporate shows tend to be more of a 'lock', planning wise.

There's talk of a 3rd Paris area gig at Trianon and one in London. Public shows that is.

Bv on IORR is talking up a possibility of a show at Barclays Centre, Brooklyn on 8th December due to the 'overwhelming demand' for the two Newark shows.  There was talk of shows in BOTH Newark and Brooklyn a few weeks ago, but I got the impression Newark was merely provisionally booked as an alternative option in case the Brooklyn deal fell through (which was how it ended up as there was some dispute over using Brooklyn for the PPV).  IS there enough demand to fill another 20,000 seater venue at a month;s notice considering thousands and thousands of Newark tickets are still actually available on secondary markets? If the same thing happens again, the place could be half empty.

There are probably several clubs who get sounded out for possible warm up gigs that we never hear about. "Many are called but only a few are chosen".

Is this what you're referring to?

...

Not a gig, but a book launch. Rolando Rebelo (Riffbuk)'s upcoming book on the Stones' visits to Portugal over the years.

I believe it's in Portuguese and English and SHOULD have some Rocks Off content as I wrote an article for it on my (and Gottorollme's) little adventure there in 2007.

I still say the Newark thing came about because of all the lost revenue due to the Hockey Lock Out...The Prud probobly gave
them a better deal for the space...but that is just a guess...maybe a charity show to be added for NJ is being worked out...who knows??
