with so many tix possiblt available, I wold definitely be outfront trying to get in... no way this place is just for invatation only...
Am I missing something, is this a gog that Branson is getting for himself and employess? In that case, I could see locked out fans, can't have is schmoozing with people who are there to just wine and dine...

they have done it... in all fairness, not all corporate parties are uptight events... I have seen many fun events... the difference is, rocking next to a stranger, you know is as into the band as you may be... or , a co worker, you kinda know, who might like Aimme Mann, Shania Twain, likes Dalls cowboys, has bodies buried in basement...

You really couldn't make it up if you tried. The Stones triple their ticket prices in the five years since the recession kicked in caused by a banking crisis and on either side of that play two corporate events - for bankers.

You're correct in that its wrong to assume that the people lucky enough to get in will be too stuffy to enjoy it, though. The video clips of the Deutsche Bank show suggest that the attendees got into it.
