Tickets say 20.00 hours.

They also describe the event as  'A Short Warm Up Set'

It doesnt mention anything about an opening act, so this really could be a 'blink and you'll miss it' event.

I'm thinking about that LA show Jagger did in 2001 at El Rey to promote 'Goddess In the Doorway'  - it was only seven songs (including one song performed twice).

So what's the point in booking a club for a special show and perform only a handful of songs ?

Bah, humbug !

I say treat it like a quasi-rehearsal, have a good time.

So what if they screw up here & there. They do that in regular shows anyway.

Show them the Rolling Stones, warts & all.

Despite all my disgust about what's gone on in the last ten days in the Stones' universe, I'm pretty sure I got a bit of 'wood' (no,  Ouch! not YOU, Ronnie!)  when starting this thread....

Oh you never cease to make me laugh.....

Gotta feeling these crazy fans will have spent insane amounts of time waiting in the lines to get tickets and to see the show than will be worth the supposed short run through of songs...

nevertheless...
it is nice to see a setlist thread on RO..Its been a long long time..........

I'm sure some graphic artists could duplicate that ticket, bar code and all.  Ouch!

Whoever took that photo of their ticket should know not to show the bar code. Just saying. smoking more weed is good for your health

Every club show the Stones have ever done before theyve tried to make it as hard as possible for scalpers.

With this one - you were allowed to buy TWO tickets even though only about 220 were available to the public. The buyer's name is on both tickets. Both ticket holders have to bring proof of ID, even though the second ticket holder didnt have to be there when the tickets were sold.

Absolutely nothing done, it seems, to prevent the lucky customer buying two tickets and selling one off for thousands of euro. Apparently, scalpers were all over the place.

You couldnt make this shit up. At a show thats supposedly aimed at fans and which has great prices, they still cant/wont even bother trying to do anything about scalpers.

This band's organisation would fuck up a two-car funeral.
