The studio album version?
The "Rock N' Roll Circus" live version, close to the original?
The Hyde Park version?
The "Get Yer Ya Ya's Out" Version--used until the 80s structually--as a rock song?

What about Street Fighting Man? The studio song or the 60s-70s arena rock anthem version with high powered solos by Taylor?

I have always liked the Flashpoint version myself...Ya-Ya's is pretty damn hot as well...Studio is pretty insane at the start and rides off a blazin'!!!

I once saw Sandra Bernhard open up her stand up show singing SFTD...AMAZING!!! It was real sultry and sexy!!!

I even saw it preformed at the Marquee once by The Trashing Doves...a nice surprise for an encore

Personally I thought Guns and Roses did it quote well for 'Interview with a Vampire'.

Not my favourite Stones song I have to say...

For me, its hands down the '75 version (Love You Live).

Its just so chaotic. Keith at his wildest. And I love how Mick just blurts out screams of "OWWWW" throughout the whole jam.

Probably the original
Great stones song, though impossible to dance to... and boy did I try...

Definitely the original studio version for me.

The percussion is key, and missing from most live versions - switching over to pre-recorded synth drums in '89 was a horrible idea - and Keith's lead guitar can be used to peel paint.

Its majestic on the Tokyo show in 1990 thats used on Flashpoint - even though they chopped his two solos down. Love that version - the unedited one, that is.

LYL version is good even though, again, they chopped two minutes out of it - and there's a fair amount of studio singing.

The guitar duel on the Ya-Ya's version is hard to top.
