Boutique prices for boutique shows.  It was to be expected.

This is why I do not understand why they didn't go ahead and confirm further shows for next year.  They have plenty of people that will pay big bucks to see these shows.  I'm sure big wigs in London and NYC will be buying up blocks of these for employees.  And of course there is the society/jet set crowd.  These two shows are for them and that is obivious.  Had they set the tickets at a reasonable rate the demand would have way exceeded supply.  So how do they decide who gets the tickets in that situation?  Big ass headache that is best avoided.

So guys, just announce the other dates so the regular fans have an idea of what we need to fork out next year?

As much as I love this band....traveling during Thanksgiving weekend to London or staying in New York at Christmas time makes it impossible to even contemplate paying these ridiculous prices for crap seats...

They have lost their marbles. Calling them "greedy" is being generous

So far no announcement if the imaginary "Student Discount" tickets will be made 'available' again?

Don't suck my cock Have you no fucking shame? Blank Frigging Stare really?

Though they really out did themselves from the $100 fan club rip off of the previous tour to the now "Archival Members" tickets.

Which is so awesome! You just plunk down $1800 on a Brussells Box or some other over paid crap and you get privilege of 'pre-sale access' to buy the $850  seats

What sweet deal!

What true prince's they are!

"Sorry LJ. Not trying to start a pissing contest. Just my humble opinion. I hope you get tickets and see a great show."

Thank you.
I appreciate your love for other artists.
I know these guys are greedy motherfuckers.
But there isn't another Band that will ever come close to them for me.
I've been waiting for this day for SIX long years.
I'm a Rolling Stones purist and mutant and will never make apologies for it.

I wish u were right, gimmekeef....
There will be tickets though.... In the nosebleeds

Unfortunately with only 2 shows...the corporate bigwigs will buy up these tickets and not bat an eyelash.  And the Stones Corporation will make sure that the place is full.  Unfortunately not with real fans.....

Ok. So theyre never going to outgross U2 again - but for those who still get competitive about them breaking attendance records, it looks like they're on the way to being the first band to fill a concert arena by selling tickets to none of their actual fans.

Quite an achievement!

That $750 ticket would've cost you $136.00 back in 72' ..puts things into perspective. Could you imagine anyone charging $136 in 1972????

Newark New Jersey is not hell... its the armpit of hell.

Its in a ghetto. Lots of violence has happened there. Couple murders last fall after a show (Chili Peppers)

I'm thinking Newark New Jersey would keep away the models, celebrities, wanna be's and scenester types.

I know folks have been clamoring for the Super Bowl tongue stage for years now... well... thats close to what were getting. The front of the stage will be the Stones tongue with GA seats inside the tongue.

I hope these shows tank and sell horribly. Fuck them. I can see 7 Springsteen shows that are better, for cheaper.

My total for the year so far is 182 and I don't think I have spent $750. And a huge chunk of them were at least a lot more fun than many Stones shows I have seen. I've seen enough "last shows" by everybody that I am ready to bury all "classic rock" at the mausoleum in Cleveland.

I do wanna see the PPV though.

This is our chance at a presale code and if I can possibly score the $95 or $150 tickets I'll get those, and if not I'm priced out.

Also, the venue in Newark is new and state-of-the-art, built for concerts so although Newark, NJ itself sucks, this place is nice and there is public transit to and from so as long as you dont plan on strolling the streets of Newark, it's perfectly safe. Just dont buy scalper tickets, those will be bogus.

The last show is going to be on Pay Per View, with decent editing they are usually better on TV anyway.

Keep it to one song for Keith and throw in a second one featuring Ronnie so Mick gets back stage to count the gross.

It will be available on DVD anyway, & you actually see more what's going on then at a live show, I know a person who had front row seats for another artist, Bowie, & what happened there was festival seating included after the sale, & all these people shut out the front row people so they ended up watching a screen, The guy actually saw more on the show when the DVD came out, & he paid all this money for it.
What about some of us who is getting up there in years & live on fixed incomes.
