Jerry Hall has revealed that she has been getting Strictly Come Dancing tips from her rock star pals.

Speaking on spinoff show It Takes Two, Hall said that former Rolling Stones star Bill Wyman had picked the music for her cha-cha-cha in week one.

"Bill did pick it," confessed Hall. "I got advice from Bill Wyman, Mick Jagger and Bob Geldolf."

The former wife of Jagger claimed that Boomtown Rats singer Geldolf had got in touch to offer suggestions about a possible waltz performance.

Meanwhile, Hall's partner Anton Du Beke defended the 56-year-old American against criticism from judge Craig Revel Horwood, who claimed that she had "taken minimal to a whole new level" with her first Latin routine.

"I didn't want to go too mad with the backflips and bells and whistles. I wanted her to achieve the number," said Du Beke.

"Jerry has so many assets, she looks amazing, she stand beautifully and she understands how her body works. She brings all of that to the dance floor."

Hall said that she was "thrilled" with her first dance and promised some "pelvic thrusts" in her upcoming foxtrot.

"I like it. I'm getting the essence of ballroom dancing," she said. "Middle-aged women rubbing against attractive men."
