Wow... you really must hand it to them for their secrecy about matters in 2012. NOBODY has heard it, it hasn't been leaked anywhere. Nobody knows their full plans yet either.

Indeed, they tightened up significantly on their keeping everything official and if not official ....it's almost all under wraps. Not a peep or bleep of any of the new material like it's the old days or something. Even in today's Internet peeping Tom age, we got nada

- The new stuff has been kept completely hidden and we don't even know anyone who has claimed to of heard it or what it's like and it comes out in literally hours.... Indeed they really tightened up all the loose edges and kept it quite secluded. I mean Geez...it is going to be officially released to the airways in like, six short hours and NOBODY (no DJ...no record exec... no dude in promotions....no guy sweeping up at the studio....) is blabbing anything about it.... geesh.

In the name of flaming ar*eholes, will someone please post a link to 'Doom/Gloom & Gloom/Doom'. I have to take the spaniel for a walk, then have a good kip.

Has anyone heard the rumour that 'One Last Shot' (aka 'One More Shot') is, partly, Keith's paean-ean to James Last, the great band leader.
Sorry, I dreamt that. But seriously, over my beakfast cereals, I'm very keen on hearing the band's potentially greatest / most poignant ever single, taylor made smile

... but, seriously, who sensible is listening to Chris 'Crisp' Evans, or whoever, so early in the morning? It's madness. There are alternative universes in which people are prosecuted for getting up before 11.45am at the bare minimum.

I must have some shut-eye, but I suspect that 'Doom & Gloom' will be one of the most poignant and lovely ditties that Chuck W and the team have ever committed to vinyl.

Off to a good start but runs out of steam and the bridge/solo are...unimpressive.

Sounds like "Driving Too Fast" part II really, one of the most boring songs on ABB, fortunately it's a bit better, thanks to that big beat. Reminds me of Sheryl Crow's "Gasoline" from 2008 too. Will be working on putting it on YouTube.

Some good parts and I love the riff but I have never understood why they use the techno drum beats. Charlie is more powerful than that. It's always too early to judge after a couple listens. Hurt sitting in the dirt was a little weak for a lyrical powerhouse like Jagger. Still, it's bring a smile to my face when I hear it and I'm just chuffed to bits that they have put out something new that I can listen to for a while. An album would have been nice boys.

Chris Evans was unbearable.

Was not what I was expecting... at first ...in the first minute I was not sure if I even liked it... then I started to. Kina cool.

Definitely different for them. Heavy beat, thicker guitars, odd melody... but something about it makes you want to hear it again.

Almost a sort of eastern (asian) guitar part in there here and again. Odd ... but not bad. Needs more time... I don't exactly get it. At the same time it really "thumps" along in it's production. A sort of different approach ...no doubt.

It is a sort of cross between 999 from Keiths solo album Main Offender and INXS's Wild Wild West is the best way I can describe the songs sound and texture and how it is put together. It isn't exactly poppy though, just danceable. It is not "standard" Stones ...

It's Rock N Roll but has pop sensibility, without it being light, or glossy at all. It has a groove that may get you dancing and shaking about. It's got something but I'm not sure what it is.
