Does this song sort of sum up the Stones for anyone else? At least, sums up who the Stones were in the 70s?

Also, where is Mick Taylor in the song? Is he on guitar, bass? If he's on guitar, which channel is his playing in?

And lastly...What do you guys think of the psychedelic breakdown in the middle ("Feel so hypnotized...")?

Doesn't sum them up the way I think that is meant.  Tumbling Dice does, as you know, same album.

Rocks Off does have "push in, flush out, fire the fucking [whatever]"  Shoot up some drugs.

Exile the best music ever.  Nothing like it.  The flawed moment you mentioned is treasured to many.

If there were anything that should not have been there in was Rip.  Shades of things to come.........

Is a song that combines crude rock, psychedelia and sexuality

Psychedlia is not just on the part

Feel so hypnotized, can't describe the scene.
Feel so mesmerized all that inside me.
The sunshine bores the daylights out of me.
Chasing shadows moonlight mystery.

But parts like

“Your mouth don't move but I can hear you speak”

On acid or peyote or mushrooms sometimes you don’t need to hear to get communication with others is something like telepathy

“I'm always hearing voices on the street

LOL what was that? LSD once more

“I can't even feel the pain no more.”

Smack?

Sexuality is on this verse

“I only get my rocks off while I'm dreaming,
I only get my rocks off while I'm sleeping”

It’s is proved that the strongest orgasms can be reached while sleeping having a wet wet dream, both male or female orgasms

I love this song!

I always thought the lyrics were plug in flush out and find the fucking feed. I thought that meant plug in the guitars and get the equipment ready to play a live gig. I didnt think it was about shooting up but I guess it could be interpreted that way as well.

One of my favorite classic Stones lyrics is this:
I was making love last night
To a dancer friend of mine.
I can't seem to stay in step,
Cause she cums every time that she pirouettes on me.

There was a poster on the old MickJagger.com who used the handle Tiny Dancer. She claimed she was the girl in the lyrics. She said she was the same height as MICK standing barefoot, about 5'7", about the same weight 135 pounds, and that MICK loves the girl on top. Never forgot that. I believe it's true, although she got bashed and eventually she stopped posting there. Too bad because I was always asking her questions about MICK as a lover, and she had only good things to say about it. Never mentioned a small todger or anything like that, in fact she said he was a generous lover. She also said most British men are generous lovers. So I decided to find out if it was true, lol, and guess what? It is!
