Ian's day job is in the White Press room! If you feel a stiff neck, it is b/c you just looked at something spinnig... keep up the positive Ian. I agree, we got a lot ot be happy about. New songs, live releases, movies, books and shows.... so let's keep it in perspective... If this is all we focus on, then we have truly lost our way, more than the band putting out a Greatest hits, that looks stupid... but let's be real, we don't know what's on it. We are criticing without even seeing a tracklist.If we don't like it, we don't buy it. We will have access to the new songs, if that is all we want. it's 2012, you can get that for free even if you choose... let's be happy too, and yes... the monkey and title are pretty odd... but one day, it will please us to remember even this, no?

I agree. I suppose even you had to be the one to tell me... look on the bright side. As was noted, this isn't what The Stones will be remembered by. It's just another uneeded and silly concept in my opinion. It will pass in short time.
