When is Australia considered? Melbourne Cricket Ground will be used for cricket up to about March. But we have Etihad stadium (with a roof) that would be available as mostly Aussie Rules footy is played there and that finished tomorrow (at the MCG). They played MCG in 95 to 2 x 55,000. Etihad has hosted heaps of big name concerts & could accomodate around 50,000. But i must say, i have never heard this rumour before. Like i said earlier, true or false this time, maybe having Dainty on board gives us a better than usual chance of getting them over here.

Lo afirmó Darryl Jones en diálogo exclusivo con INFOnews. El músico se presentó anoche en Buenos Aires junto a The Rolling Stones Project, de la que también forman parte otros músicos Stones: Bernard Fowler (corista) y Tim Ries (vientos).

El bajista que acompaña al cuarteto Stone Mick, Keith, Ron y Charlie hace ya casi 20 años habló mano a mano con INFOnews luego de dar un show con su The Rolling Stones Project en La Trastienda. Y endulzó los oídos de todos los fanáticos: "Seguramente habrá una gira de los Rolling Stones en 2013".

La declaraciones de Darryl Jones coinciden con los dichos de Keith Richards, quien en este 50º aniversario de la mítica banda también dio a conocer esa información hace dos meses.

El 12 de noviembre se espera un nuevo disco de los Stone: GRRR! Y también se espera el anuncio oficial de un posible tour para el año que viene.

Por otra parte, Jones desmintió el rumor de que el antiguo bajista de la banda, Bill Wyman, haya tocado en alguno de los dos temas nuevos que saldrán en el próximo disco: "Gloom And Doom" y "One Last Shot". Darryl fue tajante. "No, yo toqué en ambos temas, Bill no participó".

De The Rolling Stones Project también forman parte Bernard Fowler, corista Stone hace más de 20 años y ayer declarado "Huésped de Honor de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires", y Tim Ries (vientos).

Fowler, en un breve diálogo con INFOnews, afirmó sobre el posible tour de la banda de rock más grande del mundo: "I hope" ("Tengo esperanza").

En medio del show, donde lleva la voz cantante de una serie de covers de los Rolling Stones pero "jazzeados", Bernard contó: "En Argentina hay una gran cantidad de fanáticos de los Stones y eso es genial".

Darryl Jones, por otra parte, afirmó a INFOnews que el estado de salud de Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ron Wood y Charlie Watts "es bueno".
