OK folks! June 22, 2012. Another night of the Tim Reis Rolling Stones project in NYC, at The Highline Ballroom in Lower Manhattan. This club show was fortified with the mighty Darryl Jones. We had a front row table (thanks Angee) and the Rolling Stones tunes were played Tim-style, slow and jazzy. Personally I like the rock versions much better, but I enjoyed the show, and it was only $25.00. Tim's daughter sang back-up on some of the songs. The drummer's name is Jeff Watts (no relation, lol) the guitar player is Israli, Ilan Barlavi (I asked him to spell it) and I'm not sure who the tall guy is. It was sold out so I'm sure they were happy. They didnt come out afterwards, so maybe they had some important business to discuss??
