I, too, wondered about the Stones inclusion of the events...Other than the Superbowl...i don't see them playing a short set in the middle of all the festivities...I don't know how long the longest set was...I have only seen clips. What would they have played? SMU > JJF > MY > Little Queenie

I really enjoyed MADNESS playing on top of Buckingham Palace and the use of the Palace as a visual screen...

Also, Robbie Williams was really good...wish I had seen more of his stuff...
Robbie is who QUEEN should have gotten to sing  and NOT Paul Rogers or the guy from Idol

Grace Jones, always terrific, was in top form and is still a female version of Bowie in my mind...

Macca was, sorry to say, meh! Can't quite place my finger on why...He should have played "Her Majesty"

I thought Sir Mick should have been asked to perform.

They for sure get the safe performers, Macca & Elton, the Sex pistols didn't get asked- LOL, what was once shocking is now mainstream, I'm like Sioux, grew up in the 60's & loved everything British.

Another great Keith myth is the one that he sang at the Queen's coronation in 1953.

It's absolute bollocks.

While his school choir quite possibly DID sing in front of the Queen at another occasion (probably during a royal visit to Dartford or something like that), there's no way that a bunch of 9 year olds from an ordinary primary school in Kent would have been handpicked for the massed ranks of singers at an event like that.
