Apr 13^th, 2012 at 3:41pm It's not online yet, and I'm still in a bit of shock, but my Keith Riff Cousins series is No. 3 on Rolling Stone's 25 Best Things in Rock list. The issue hit newsstands today. I suppose this means I need to do another video. Been a while!

these are all really nice and I appreciate the effort to get them out to us.....If I dare mention this, you speak of things that are up the neck or down the neck but you are saying it physically rather than speaking of it by pitch...low notes and the bottom of the neck (toward the headstock) and high notes up at the thinest strings near the body. Many people speak of it the way you did but that is not the proper accurate way...just a pet peeve of mine I am not trying to be sour or overly critical. I am truly grateful for the chance to see it played.

I guess I loosely use up and down in both senses: as in pitch and the physical neck. I agree it can be misleading. I should generally try to cut down on the verbal clutter, anyway
