With all due respect gimmekeef. Obama inserted himself into this by claiming, "If I had a son he would look like Trayvon." Not only that, but the DOJ, Eric Holder (the most racist AG ever!) has completely ignored the very real, and repeated threats, put on the life of George Zimmerman. They put a bounty on his head FFS, and from the DOJ? Crickets. Add the media's blatant disgusting love affair with Obama and their twisting of the facts, and despicable editing of the 911 call, and you can easily see what they are doing, and why they are doing it. They are laying the narrative for the angle they want the public to believe. That narrative is highly biased and is designed to fan the flames of racial outrage, and to reinvigorate the African American base of the Dem party. It's all politics. Every last bit of it!

It's pathetic, but it's predictable. This fucking clown of a president is trying to divide this country as much as possible. From the bullshit made up "war on women", to the worse case of class warfare I've ever seen from a president. He wants blacks against whites (or white/Hispanics), poor against rich, illegal immigrant against natural citizen, unions vs right to work states, gay against straight, and on, and on, and on.............He sucks. I knew he would. He does.

the young man was killed b/c of his color, his skin color created fear in his killer aka prejudice... the whole point of this neighborhood watch was they were looking for black males who apparently had been robbing homes and people... the police allowing Zimmerman to walk after, was a travesty.... it's clear by some responses, people like to respond with what is commonly used as the Fox News driven idea, that black people are scary and if they are discriminated against, we will show you just how afraid of them you should be, because they commit crimes against very nice law abiding white people... you make me sick with your foulness..

Complete speculation of which you have exactly zero facts to back up your very slanted argument. Zimmerman tutored black children in his spare time. Hardly the MO for a racist. Fox News drives the idea that black people are scary? Wow! You drink deeply of the stereotypical liberal Kool Aid! I've never once seen Fox News do that at all! Not once! Ever!

I have seen MSNBC claim that the GOP hates gays, blacks, immigrants, women, muslims,...........never on Fox, but almost exclusively on MSNBC do I see this kind of intentional division.

Romney 2012...
worst GOP choice, if you can't stand a moderate, bi=partisan who despite being a rich boy, actually has some decent policies regarding non rich and everyday folks... I can only imagine the gagging the neo-cons will have when voting for him... I'm actually glad it's Romney...

I agree with you 100%, Riffy.  Barack is not even close to being the worst President ever. That would be George W. Bush, of course; James Buchanan coming in a distant second.

I'm out of this thread. Before I go though, Martin was not shot in the back. I will wait until the trial and the details come out before I cast judgment on Zimmerman. That's what fair minded people do. I do know that Eric Holder will not prosecute "his people" though. So any chance of the New and Improved Black Panthers being rightfully prosecuted will be ignored by that piece of shit racist bastard.

Oh, and Barack Obama is hands down the worst president ever. He sucks on every single level. That is all.

November can't get here fast enough. My dog left better presidential material on our lawn this morning than this rank amateur community organizer Marxist fuckstick. Deny it all you want BJ, but "your friend" is the most decisive president in history, and he, and he alone, has created a debt that is going to destroy future generations for decades to come. He's fucking my kids over!!!!! Fuck him.

I knew he would suck. He sucks. I told you so.

with all due respect to both brainy and riffy, anyone who knows anything about presidential history traditionally ranks warren g harding near the bottom of the list, as well as the idiots who got themselves elected to the presidency (or, in the case of fillmore, stumbled into the office due to the death of his predecessor) before the civil war. fillmore, pierce and especially that rat bastard bachelor buchanan did absolutely nothing to slow down the march towards civil war; buchanan couldn't wait to dump all the problems of the nation on the next guy....thankfully, the next guy turned out to be one of the best we've had.

you can hardly compare barry or bush to those idiots, especially seeing the fact that the country was falling apart at the time.

I agree that I should have included Harding; Grant wasn't much good as President, either, despite his greatness as a general.

Bush is responsible for starting the "Arab Spring" Middle Eastern by freeing Iraqis.  But I'm sure you can think of plenty of things that GW did that outweigh that positive attribute.

Has anyone ever changed their opinion on an issue based on what people post on blogs such as this?....course not ...it's an exercise in futility....the scarcest commodity found in blogs are facts....The Martin case is a microcosm of USA/The World where the media and Twitter etc blow everything up beyond reason. Zimmerman claims he was standing his ground. Was Martin not entitled to use the same logic? Now a trial will occur and teh facts may actually now see the light of day. Unfortunately those who have already made up their mind will selectively choose those facts that best fit their position.

I love this post. and like I said kick starting this topic, it will be a very interesting trial, it has all the ingrindients to make it sensational... but it also at the core addresses a very vague law that can grant permission to murder a person, and race is a factor, whether anyone likes it or not... the second it is addressed, everyone either points out the 911 calls or other crimes involving race... this is America... we all can get sucked into the politcal vortex, especially since it was  done to call out grandstanders while grandstanding, who doesn't like that dog and pony show?  I thin kit's very good that every american is aware of this, especially those who I see blaming the media, the president talking about black crimes... it points out how much fear we still have...
this case will raise anyone willing to look at themselves, to see if they live in fear... not rational fear, like if you actually are in danger... the fear that drives you to carry a gun and sit in a car, call the police when no srime has occurred... and in the end an unarmed child is killed... what happened in between, was fear... we know the child was in fear, whether he ran from his killer or attacked them, he did so out of fear... I know real fear and imagined fear... and the matter of law in this case, will hopefully address this, it should be interesting... stand your ground could be a law that saves lives, but in this case, it was used to improperly, you can not call 911 get out of your car carrying a weapon and claim self defense... hence, we have 2nd degree murder charges...
Regard;ess of the trila, i as a person do get to decide and have my own opinion, even if it goes against the law. What I do know is Zimmerman killed a child, that is known and already on record. Do I think he murdered the child on purpose...? My answer is, based on prejudice and fear, yes he did... and it goes beyond racial profiling... fear is so deep, that we don't see it and can't admit it.  that is Zimmermans burden, not mine. He was pissed at someone, punks and people getting away as he said on his call... that's prejudice enough for me, not racist... there's a difference... most racism, like I said, is deep, we don't even see how the fear drives us when we living in fear based on an idea we have had our entire lives.
I am going to look forwar and follow this close, and I will request again, civility and respect the mods on abusive political rants and attacks... this thread isn't about Romney vs Obama or which prez was worst... I do understand we have a history of racism in america, and it will come up.. but please, be nice!
Let's respect that George Zimmerman, probably feels like shit and knows he made a huge mistake and Travon is dead, forever... these are two peoples lives one gone another ruined and countless family and friends hurt... let's not add to the pain.
