Well the Stones machine moves very slowly these days. It took Keith to finally say he went too far in Life. Now he has to start playing more and better. Don't think their are any serious health issues other than the arthritis,old age and out of practice.

How about a few Wino/Barbarian gigs with Ronnie in a few months?....Waddy and Ronnie with Keith to see how things work out?.......a mini tour of smaller venues......again my basement is always available....no tarps required

Presumably the Keith quote is taken from the same time as well as the 'Rolling Stone' interview.

No way will I be duped into believing that Keith's book comments or their differences in opinion kept them from touring this year...

it's a smokescreen I think... either they are hiding plans to make something a surprise in this day and age of internet instant info or like I felt, there's a major concern with Keith and they are postponing til 2013, if they can... it's always been odd going, but this is really weird timing on the heels of the early tour plans for 2012 and all the pre-hype about 2012 being the big 50... is this a ruse to keep live plans secret or is it to hide ailments they don't want public? My gut just has such an uneasy feeling with all this.

Poorly researched and sloppily written Daily Mail spin on things today - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2116257/Why-Mick-Jagger-forgive-Kei... - although one thing of note that it DOES mention is that it seems to back up in print (for the first time as far as I can tell) the rumour I mentioned a few months ago about a multi-disc compilation coming out in the next few months ('a greatest hits boxed set' as they put it)
