When Mick is "finally" asked if or when The Stones are going to record another album he said he has lots of songs written but no concrete plans on recording as of yet.
When asked if they are going to tour he says no shows have been booked.
Still Mick promises lots of wonderful things for them this year. What is he hiding?? It doesn't seem like anything is set in stone yet. Is he fibbing?
I hate to be so negative lately, but seriously.. if they are not recording anything and there are no shows booked... what could possibly be so wonderful about the plans for this year? It is basically March boys and girls, and it seems they are still just kicking things around and the clock is truly ticking like crazy. Very odd .. .. or complete BS and everything is already pretty much planned out.
Still not happy at all with their reluctance to do studio work. I am looking forward to a studio album more than a tour.

They're always coy and evasive before announcing a tour. Does it ever occur to you that when it comes to this kind of talk that, er...he may be lying? As mentioned previously, there's documented evidence that they'll be touring - and his ex-wife has even confirmed it.
Unfortunately those of us who like the idea of the Stones making records and touring behind them are in the minority when it comes to their target audience. The muse and desire are quite clearly things of the past.

Sure. They are "coy" and evasive... especially when things are in the works. I realize this. Still Mick rarely flat out "lies" to the press concerning these affairs. Normally he will blow questions off, or simply be pretty evasive about it. I don't think I have ever heard him flat out lie about logistics or plans. If this is the case and Mick is not flat out lying.. there are no shows booked according to him. My only guess is what are they waiting on? Normally, in a big business touring world, they would certainly have a promoter chosen and shows booked by now..
That was my only concern. Possibly it isn't going to be any large scale tour and instead offers something other. Maybe there will be shows here and there? Whatever the case, this time, the structure of the tour itself will be changed up.
