There's some excellent stuff on your list Boomy. I wasn't gonna add the new Black Keys disc at first because it only came out a few weeks ago, but I've given that disc a shitload of spins since, so it's there. Anyway. My top 10.
1. dEUS - Keep You Close. (Don't know how well-known this band is in countries other than Belgium and The Netherlands, but do surf for a bit and check these guys out.) 2. Tom Waits - Bad As Me. 3. Wilco - The Whole Love 4. Tommy Ebben & The Small Town Villains - A Whisper To Arms. (Up and coming band from the Netherlands. Fresh sounding tunes, great songwriting, American roots: sounds a bit like DBT) 5. Gillian Welch - The Harrow And The Harvest 6. Bonnie 'Prince' Billy - Wolfroy Comes To Town 7. Blitzen Trapper - American Goldwing 8. Drive-by Truckers - Go-Go Boots 9. Ryan Adams - Ashes And Fire 10. The Black Keys - El Camino 11. DeWolff - Orchards/Lupine (Dutch psychedlic blues rockers. Bunch of kids really. They burned down the house during the set at the Lowlands Festival).
Favorite reissues of this year are obvious picks: Some Girls plus extra's is a gem. And then there's the 20th anniversary edition of Nevermind...fantastic. Can't believe 20 years passed so fast. By far the greatest rock album of the 90s and probably the most important rock album since London Calling.
