What band do we hate the most?

I was having a debate at the last gig with a well informed Stones fan about what band the average Stones fan hates the most. I argued for the Eagles .... and I am staunch in my opinions....

anyhoo, i thought it was an interesting discussion and promised to bring it up here. any thoughts? what names have i forgotten? Seems the Eagles and Bon Jovi get a lot of negative press round here...but who else do we despise?

Hating is a waste of time. Even The Eagles have a couple of good songs ("My Man" -- it's about Gram Parsons). I say: let everybody have a chance, and let the fanboys out.

Insert image regarding haters hating hate.

But, if hating is needed, I think that Julia Roberts and Adam Sandlers are evil. I know that this is about musical rock and roll bands, but I just wanted you to know that I fucking hate Julia Roberts and Adam Sandler movies. And that Aerosmith blows.

forgot about U2 and aerosmith.

i personally hate aerosmith, but U2 had some good years and some classic albums back in the late 80s/early 90s. many stones fan dislike them, however.

Bon Jovi (I remember this guy who's teenage daughter had posters all over the place, so I always took them as teeny bopper Idols)  & when I heard their music it never did anything for me.
KISS-4 Alice Cooper ripp-offs, they never had a good song between them, I remember in the 70's, I was in this store, & all these little kids wanted to know if the KISS lunch boxes/dolls were in, I can't stand Gene Simmons, no talent whatsever, & everything he does is for the money.
Freddy & The Dreamers-do I have to explain this one?

Chicago WAS a great band, really great just listen their first 4 albums, Terry Kath was one of the best guitar players, I saw him live in 1973, what a great band!

Listen "Free form guitar" from their first album... I have played that song to many and they think it's Jimi Hendrix...

Too bad they followed other directions making a lot of money but leaving their jazz/blues/rock roots

This was a difficult question, you know. I instinctively went with the Eagles, because their over-produced, money-stink, radio-raping horseshit immedtiately elicits a negative reaction from me. But hot damn, I do hate me some Bon Jovi and Journey.

I could name a lot of recent groups and artists, too, but that would entail having to name them. And I just don't want to do that. (It'll take too much time, anyway.)
