Anyone listen to Don Was' band? Not very familar with his work outside of working with The Stones... I am pretty sure I remember an MTV video or two, but that's about it... I'm not looking for youtube links, I'm asking peoples opinions.

I am quite glad you are not one of the "Don Was haters" that is kind of common around here. Don Was produced three strong albums with The Stones in my opinion. Voodoo Lounge was simply marvelous, Bridges was "good" and complex..and ABB rocked hard. His production has such a quality to it... even surpassing Rick Rubin and Daniel Lanois in my opiniion. There is just something to that guys production "sound" that is just fascinating it's done so well.

His work with Iggy Pop and The Black Crows was incredible. As far as his work with Was (not was)... much of the material was just a collaborative fun, pop type of project versus anything to be taken too seriously. It was what it was <<pun intended, hehe
